Janghya… Half Ticket, Full Filmy

Balwan, also known as Jhangya among his friends, is a 10 year old devil who does not wear underwear. His answer for the same is- “Style hai Boss”. Janghya is obsessed with Bollywood films. His every sentence will have a flavor of Bollywood in it. If you ask any question to him, his answer will have a reference from a Bollywood hit movie. He is so filmy that he keeps on swearing on his mother to make his friends believe he his speaking the truth.

He roams around with his friends in half pants, riding bicycle and playing cricket. One must not assume his behaviour by seeing his innocent face, they are poles apart. If you try to give lecture to him, he will outsmart you and change the topic. He is not even afraid of showing his attitude in front of his teacher

Janghya is a team's man. He will keep his ego on the side and do whatever it takes to get the work done. This was quite evident when he wore underwear for the first time to help his friend. This shows that he will come to rest only when he has defeated his enemy.
So now you know, that you never want to go against him. ;)

DJ da Style, DJ da Promise, DJ di Life.

Daljeet (DJ) is a Punjabi boy who has no worries at all and doesn't care whether this world is a shit place or something. He wants to make the most of now and his way of doing that is doing all sorts of activities which a normal person would be scared of doing. He wants to live the life on the edge. 

 DJ has a different kind of humour which you may not like in the first place, but later you will find it difficult to control yourself from laughing at his jokes. No matter how angry you are, he will come up with something and you will start smiling. Even his dance style is as cool and unique as he is. DJ is yaaron ka  yaar who can do anything for his friends. He believes in his friend's belief and will support him/her even if he is on the death bed.

But who is DJ? Is he a college student? What is he like from inside?
It was long when DJ passed his college studies but he is still hanging around the campus. Why? Because he likes being there. He has an image over there. His social needs are high. People know him, they expect from him, he is getting importance, so he is happy and relaxed. But somewhere down the line he is afraid to go out in the world alone because he knows how does it function. Bribing and getting away is the solution to every problem out there.

Our Daljeet fall in love with a firangi, Sue. DJ promised to stay by her side and to help her complete the film she was supposed to complete.
Fate took a sudden turn and his life showed him a totally new phase. The world was not the same as before, DJ realized it was time to take life seriously, to take a stand against what is wrong.
And when DJ is on a mission, he will do whatever it takes to complete it, even if it requires risking his life.

Daljeet died with a vision, to make the world a better place to live in.
And what a way to die. Even at the last moment he was missing his lady love and passed a joke with reference to their future kids, "pata nahi gore honge ya kaale". 
A salute to this great man for all his efforts. No one had the courage to do what he did with such an ease.

Nina Sayers.. Black Swan or White Swan.?

 Nina (Natalie Portman), who lives with her Freudian nightmare of a mother in a spooky Upper West Side apartment, is a hard-working dancer cast as the lead in a revisionist production of “Swan Lake.” She is an obsessed, overly ambitious ballerina. 

Thomas is her director who is handsome and evil sorcerer in Nina's imagination. He tells Nina to "Let go" and not be perfect every time. The role is actually a split identity. One part is the white Swan, which Nina is capable of doing. The other part is that of a black Swan, which is very hard to gulp by Nina.
Nina starts witnessing some peculiar happenings when she met a new ballerina Lily.  The relationship between two dancers is good because of Lily’s imprudence.

In keeping with the logic of “Swan Lake” her liberation takes the form of self-destruction, and she is not what she use to be before.
Once alone in the rehearsal studio, Nina looks at her multiplying mirror images and loses control of them. What follows is a crescendo of madness leading up to her opening night triumph, during all of which it becomes increasingly difficult to find the boundary between reality and fantasy. 

The movie went too deep to let you understand the character and the felling Nina is having all this while. This case of Obsessive compulsive behaviour led to nothing else than own's destruction.
Nina's words, after she stabs herself and is severely bleeding, were "I felt it. Perfect. It was perfect."

This bulimia character was a much appraised one. She is both the black swan and the white, both the perfectly controlled performer and the pure creature of instinct.

Yo.! Wheres Moose?

 If the question is, can you think of step up without Moose?

The answer pops out instantly as a big NO. (I believe that is the reason why Moose is still in step up revolution)

Moose is this awesome dancer who looks like a nerd, but when you see his dance moves you just want him to go on forever. If you have not seen him yet, you have missed a great dancing.
Because he is totally the best "SCENE STEALER"

There is a time when this cute guy has to choose between his studies and his passion.
And then he comes up with this cool solution to take up engineering and dance, both. (He can't leave dancing, it is in his blood). He is so cool that he even has his own style of greeting to people.

Moose and Camille had been together for long but he cannot see her concern for him.
Later on when he realizes what he had lost, he confronts that he misses dancing but misses her more and that she is his best friend in the whole world.
All sorted between them, they fall in love at the end of the movie Step up 3D

The Ben-Lander

Ben Stiller plays the role of Derek in this picture perfect comedy of its time, ZOOLANDER.

Derek Zoolander is the Male model of the year for three consecutive years. Expecting much the same this year, he was shattered when the dream did not come true.
Derek is a cool guy with a kind heart but has a mind of its own. He has this same look (see picture) throughout the movie (and it is portrayed very well through humour)
Plus, he thinks he has this disease in which he cannot move "Left"
Much like every other person, he asks himself the question of life, "Who am I? What am I living for?".
And his childlike mind answers that maybe he wants to
open a school for kids who cannot read. He travels back
to his homeland to live with his family as before.
But he is of no good there. A model like him cannot work
in coal mines. He gives a comeback but is eventually made
a pawn for some international conspiracy.



The movie will sometimes give a sense that it is a spoof because of the people acting so much dumb most of the times, but believe me, that is the funniest thing about this movie.
If you want to relax and have a good laugh, Derek Zoolander will give you many of those moments.

Sean ......... "THE MOB"

Step Up Revolution, starring Ryan Guzman as Sean, is here to change things.!!

Sean is a poor guy (girls and gays will find him sexy instead) from "the streets" who runs an underground dance troupe. When he is not working for a real estate company he is putting on the Ritz.
Sean is one of those boys who want to break the rules, be free and do creative stuff. He has a sister, who like other sisters, wants him to put down his dance thing to bed and do a real work (do a course and then a job)

Being the Leader of "The Mob", he has to fight for his community. He has to take a step to change things. He can do that only when he has his friends around him. And he tries his every effort to make them stay together to create a revolution.

And if you are looking for a spark between our street dancer hero and the contemporary style hot girl, you will surely not be disappointed ;)

HORTON- the Elephant

Let me start by saying, Horton is the most cutest and the most loveable elephant i have ever seen in Animation world.

 

 Horton is a cute character from the adaptation of the book by Theodor Seuss
Horton, voice given by Jim Carrey, is a very innocent and relaxed elephant. One day when he was splashing in the pool he saw a speck and later on discovers that it contains a tiny planet within it. This is the place where the "Whos" reside, led by a Mayor. So now Horton is on a mission to keep this speck at a place where it is safe from creatures of his world. He thinks himself as a great warrior. He saves the community in the end after all the problems in the way
The movie is nothing special as such, but Horton's actions are very adorable.
